Monica Majoli (b. 1963) is a Los Angeles based artist. Her work has been shown internationally since the early ’90s in both gallery and museum contexts. Last year a recent suite of her paintings was exhibited at Air de Paris, France and she co-curated a survey exhibition with artist Judie Bamber, on the late Los Angeles artist Tony Greene for the MAK Center of Art and Architecture at the Schindler House. Majoli is a Professor of Art at UC Irvine.
Max Maslansky is an artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. This year he held two solo exhibitions, one at Honor Fraser, Los Angeles, and the other at Galerie Sébastien Bertrand, Geneva, Switzerland. Last year he was also included in Made in L.A. 2014, at the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, curated by Connie Butler and Michael Ned Holte. Maslansky is the host of “Riffin” a bimonthly comedy and interview program on Kchung radio; it airs every other Monday at 6pm.
