Description
The gallery intern must be able to operate the front desk, answer questions about gallery artists and exhibitions, properly direct sales and press inquiries, assist in writing press releases, and oversee social media. Job may include translating written materials and correspondences from Korean to English.
The gallery intern should be available in person 2-3 days of the week, from Wednesday through Saturday. The position has a start date of August 15th.
Fluency in Korean preferred.
Work Location:
The gallery is located in Hollywood. Occasional remote work.
About the gallery:
HELEN J GALLERY is a contemporary art gallery based in Los Angeles. Specializing in Asian art and design, the gallery features vibrant programming and exhibitions, which aim to promote artists from various geographic locations and diverse backgrounds and foster cross-continental dialogue. In the summer of 2020, its first 4,500 square foot exhibition space opened at 929 Cole Avenue in Hollywood.
