Description
M+B seeks a friendly, hard-working and highly organized individual for our paid part-time fall internship position. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem-solver looking to gain valuable experience for an arts-based career.
Responsibilities
Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to researching and organizing gallery materials, helping the registrar with inventory and shipment of artworks, and conducting various individualized projects.
Our two gallery spaces are located in West Hollywood and are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. We are looking for someone who can work at least two full days a week (three days are preferred).
Requirements
Applicants should be a college senior or recent college graduate with an interest in the Los Angeles contemporary art scene.
Must be professional, self-motivated, and organized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop) is a must.
We are looking for someone to begin as soon as possible.
