Description

Intersect Art and Design is seeking part-time temporary staff to work as Fair Assistants for Intersect Palm Springs, taking place at the Palm Springs Convention Center February 10-13. 2022.

Responsibilities

  • Fielding questions and sales inquiries for artwork.
  • Recording contact details for interested buyers and liaising with fair staff for follow-up on potential leads.
  • Monitoring exhibition booths and ensuring that visitors keep a safe distance from the artwork.
  • Possible assist with check-in for special events at the fair and/or offsite.

Requirements

Applicants should have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment. A knowledge of and genuine interest in modern and contemporary art and design is desirable, as is prior experience working in an art fair, art gallery, or luxury sales experience. Applicants must be comfortable working with high profile clientele in a discreet and professional manner.

All applicants must be available Thursday, February 10 through Sunday, February 13, with exact hours to be confirmed.
