Description

Over the Influence, Los Angeles seeks a full-time Director of Sales to manage the gallery’s international sales team and maintain day-to-day operations of the Los Angeles gallery.

The position is full-time, Tuesday–Saturday, with additional hours based on events and the needs of the gallery.

Responsibilities

We’re ideally seeking someone with experience and an international network they can leverage in order to dive straight into sales of the gallery program.

Requirements

Candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working in sales at a commercial art gallery or auction house in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record selling on the primary and secondary markets.

Qualifications:
– In-depth knowledge and contacts in the LA art market
– A strong ability to communicate professionally with collectors, curators, and artists
– Management experience operating a commercial art gallery
– 3+ years of sales experience with strong client list
– Work independently on a day-to-day basis
